Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor throughout his career. Most famously, he is famous for his roles was in "Law & Ordinance Special Victims Unit". His interest in acting began during his college years. He completed his acting studies at University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he has been active in both films and television, however it is his roles on the smaller screen that gave him popularity and much fans. He is able to play both characters from the side of police officers and other. This is what has made him so popular. He played the serial killer role in his debut television show and later played the role of an NYPD detective. Because of his portrayal in the small screen, he's been up for nomination several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards.
